Vaccinations
A full range of vaccinations for dogs, cats and rabbits is available.

Normally a young animal gets a primary course of jabs appropriate to their age and then a booster vaccination as needed as part of their annual wellness checkup.

We offer Pet Health Care Plans for your pets. All your pet needs for their health and wellbeing including their vaccinations, flea treatments and wormers, at a cost saving to you for an affordable monthly fee.

Neutering
As well as the obvious benefit of no unexpected babies, neutering both male and female pets has important health benefits. Many cancerous conditions and infectious diseases are greatly reduced by early neutering.

Medical
We feel that it is very important that we get to the root of any medical problems your pet may have as quickly as possible.

Our experienced vets have a full range of laboratory and diagnostic facilities in house to help get your pet feeling better again. Most results will be available the same day, many within the hour.

Should your pet need to stay with us for a while, they'll stay in comfortable hospital wards with cats getting their own accommodation separate from dogs.

Surgical
At the Well Pet Hospital, we are equipped to carry out a wide range of surgical procedures from dealing with minor cuts and bumps through to complex orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries.

Our experienced surgical team is ready to deal with whatever emergency happens to your pet.

We are happy to take referral and second opinion cases from our veterinary colleagues.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a form of traditional Chinese Veterinary medicine, which helps the body heal itself. As with human acupuncture, it is a drug free method to help control pain and inflammation. find out more here.
Microchipping
Legislation was recently introduced which means that all pups born after June 2015 now need to be microchipped and registered to their new owner.

This is extended to all dogs from March 2016. All the relevant information and legislation is available on the fido.ie website.

Microchipping is a quick and relatively painless procedure. All you need is to bring your dog, your photo ID and proof of your address and we'll look after the rest for you. Get in touch to find out more.

Passports
All pets that travel either in or out of Ireland need an EU Pet Passport.

The various rules that govern the Pet Passport scheme can be found on the Department of Agriculture's website.

It's important to note that all pets entering the UK from Ireland need a Pet Passport AND a rabies vaccination at least 22 days before travel.

We can provide Pet Passports, appropriate vaccinations and microchip identification.
